The Role
Almac Sciences provides an integrated and bespoke API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing service to the pharmaceutical industry with comprehensive scientific support. Our client base is truly global and ranges from small biotech companies to Top 20 Pharma Companies. The products we make are used by our clients in toxicity trials and Clinical Trials (Phase 1 to 3) in order to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of new drugs prior to commercial approval. In recent years Almac Sciences has successfully transitioned into manufacture of Commercial Products in addition to our extensive portfolio of Clinical Products.
Working in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will lead a multidisciplinary team from a variety of technical backgrounds (process development, analytical development, physical sciences, quality and manufacturing) in the successful planning and delivery of client projects. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of client service and for developing a strong partnership and collaboration with our clients, and will be the focal point of all communication during the project. You will be responsible for the commercial management of the project to ensure that the project remains profitable for Almac Sciences. You will report to Senior Management on the progress of the project ensuring any client concerns or issues with project progress are escalated to the highest level.

Essential Criteria
- BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline
- Significant experience in a technical, quality or project management role, within the pharmaceutical sector, supporting API or Drug Product manufacture.
- Significant experience of working in a project team environment within the pharmaceutical sector.
- An understanding of the regulatory guidelines for the manufacture and release of API or Drug Product.
