The role

Working as part of the Operations team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance schedules as per the Planned Engineering and Maintenance Control system. You will also be responsible for unplanned maintenance such as breakdowns and completion of general maintenance requests on equipment, plant and facilities across Sciences. The post holder will also carry out calibration activities on Sciences’ process equipment.

Please note this role will be based in our manufacturing plant in Craigavon and will work on a weekly rotational day/evening/night shift basis, after the completion of a 2-3 month training period on day shift.

Shift hours are Monday to Friday 0745 – 1615 (day shift) 1545 – 00.15 (evening shift) 23.45 – 08.15 (night shift)

Essential Criteria

  • City & Guilds Level 2 in an Electrical or Mechanical related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Post apprenticeship experience in a maintenance environment.

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in an Electrical or Mechanical related discipline (or equivalent)
  • HND/HNC in an electrical or mechanical related discipline
  • Previous maintenance experience within the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
