The Role

The Strategic Relationship Manager is responsible for the success, efficiency, and continuous improvement of strategic customer relationships at a global operational and commercial level.  They will have oversight of all activities of the Clinical Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Business Development teams assigned to the account, ensuring the completion of any strategic business projects identified.   

They will work to provide leadership and direction and ensure consistent operational oversight across the portfolio of work for the strategic customer, supporting and driving new processes with the aim of enhancing the service levels provided.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) qualification• 
  • Experience of working within the pharmaceutical Industry•
  • Experience of working in a Clinical Trial Packaging and / or Distribution operation 
  • Business-to-Business Customer Service

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • Project Management Qualification, e.g. Prince 2, PMP
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) qualification in a Life Science related discipline
  • Postgraduate level (or equivalent) qualification
