The Role
Almac Clinical Services designs and delivers bespoke packaging and logistical solutions for pharmaceutical companies conducting small or large clinical trials. Our client base ranges from the small biotech company to the global pharmaceutical multi-national. Guided by extensive supply experience, Almac Clinical Services provides the physical resources and supportive technologies to ensure that a supply of clinical material is delivered across the globe to meet the needs of those patients within the trial.
The principle function of the Project Services department is the day-to-day management of all Almac Clinical Services customers. The department coordinates all aspects of the delivery of a customer’s clinical trial project as specified in the initial quotation. In order to achieve this, the department is divided into the customer support group and an operations support group. The operations support group is further divided into two key areas: production and distribution.
The Project Leader works within the customer support group and has overall responsibility for ensuring their customer projects are successfully delivered on time and to the agreed specification. This is achieved by successfully coordinating the tasks of the production and distribution groups, as well as the activities of other departments and divisions delivering aspects of the project. They are the primary point of contact for their customers within Almac and as such, coordinates all communication regarding projects to multiple customers
We are seeking to expand our team within the Project Services Department. We are looking for individuals with strong project management skills who can bring their knowledge and expertise to our industry – full industry training will be provided.

Essential Criteria
- BSc/BA (or equivalent) Degree
- Significant experience within a project management role
- Able to demonstrate sole accountability for project delivery
- Evidence of leading a multi-disciplinary team
- Proven experience of managing multiple projects concurrently
Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)
- Proven Project Management experience within supply chain environment in a customer facing role
- Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated industry
- Experience at leading face to face client business related visits and presentations
